Emitting less carbon: Energy efficiency
Energy is wasted in much of our infrastructure, including our homes, our electric appliances and the national power grid itself. By improving the efficiency of energy use across all these different areas, significant cuts could be made in carbon emissions. Some energy efficiency measures are also likely to save money, although other measures might incur costs.
