Our miniature railway ride closes at the end of the summer hols in preparation for a brand new, even bigger, even better ride!

We're developing a fun new miniature railway ride in our outdoor South Yard space. You’ll be able to enjoy an exciting 1km ride over a 750m track which travels through stunning new landscapes, over bridges, crossing miniature lakes and through tunnels.

We're working on a new station and an extra drop off point at a special event ground in the heart of the miniature railway, which will host events throughout the year. Plans are also being developed for special miniature steam events and unique opportunities to drive a miniature steam locomotive.

The new ride will be dual gauge, enabling us to run larger 10 ¼ inch covered trains (suitable for all Yorkshire weather!) as well as the more traditional 7 ¼ inch.

Take a look at our plans for this exciting new project.
