The Science Museum Library at Wroughton will be closed to all readers between 3 February and 29 April 2014.

During this period our Library’s London collections will be incorporated into the Wroughton collections and staff will be fully occupied ensuring this move goes according to plan. All public services will be suspended, including enquiries and copying requests.

There will be limited public services from May 2014 onwards.

Access to the Wroughton Library and Archives collection

Please note that the Science Museum Library and Archives at Wroughton is not a browsing library.

Visitors are required to provide some indication of the material that they wish to consult in advance of their visit. This allows staff to provide guidance and prepare materials as appropriate.

Wroughton Airfield is a former RAF site near the village of Wroughton, to the south of Swindon, Wiltshire

The Library & Archives is located on the Hackpen side of the site. Access to the site is via Red Barn Gate on the A4361 Devizes road.
