Science Museum Group Wroughton

The Science Museum Group Wroughton is a 545 acre former WWII airfield, now the large-object storage base for the National collections of the Science Museum Group.

130 acres of fields, six runways and five hangars dating back to the 1940s and housing some of the greatest innovations of science, provide iconic and unique filming locations.

The runways measure 45m wide and up to 1km long. The rest of the vast site is turned over to grassland, oak and ash woodland, ideal for dry-hire and suitable for major footfall events including: festivals with camping, vehicle rallies, family or corporate fun days, teambuilding challenges, exhibitions and roadshows.

The boardroom can hold 30 delegates for daytime meetings and events. Flexible day delegate rates are available on request.

Located above the city of Swindon, the Science Museum Group Wroughton offers spectacular panoramic views, including the nearby Barbury Castle.
