Science Museum Lates - Members' VIP area
Wednesday 29 February 2012, 18.45 - 22.00
Member exclusive: Queue jump at this months Lates, simply enter via the main entrance through the Members' only line, membership card will be required for entry. This month members will also receive a free drink and as always hang out in the special VIP area. What's more priority member queues are available at the most popular sessions at Lates, simply arrive at the session at least 10 minutes before the event is due to start (please note, we have a limited allocation so arrive early to avoid disappointment). Also why not try your luck at speed dating as members go free.

Terms & Conditions: Fee applies at the VIP members bar for additional drinks. You must be 18 and over to attend the Lates evenings. No booking required. Certain allocation available at many of the sessions, once allocation is met or the show starts, members must join the public queues.

Space themed Family Activity day
Saturday 25 February
Join us this February for a fun-packed space day for the whole family at the Science Museum! Choose from either a morning (10.00–12.15) session for children aged under 6 or an afternoon (13.00–15.15) session for children aged 6-12. Booking is now open.

The Big Bang
Are there really aliens out there and where could they live? In this workshop we look at we need for life to exist and give you the opportunity to make your own planet.

Infinity and Beyond
Find out how creative you can be in Infinity and Beyond. Your challenge: create a spacesuit good enough for NASA. But you will need to test it by making your very own marshmallow space person to send into space.

Designer Rockets
Think you can be a rocket scientist? Then Designer Rockets is the workshop for you. Test your skills of design and experimentation by building and testing your own rocket. Can you go where no man or woman has gone before?

Amazing Star Gazing
Science and art come together in this spectacular workshop. Make your own beautiful Constellation pictures as well finding out about the Solar System we live in.

A Star is Born (morning session only)
Twinkle, twinkle, little star, let's find out what you are! From stellar nurseries to glittering galaxies, join us on a journey of a lifetime - the lifetime of a star brought to you through our interactive storytelling.

Space in your Face (afternoon session only)
3, 2, 1, blast off! Join us on our journey through space in this fast paced action packed extravaganza of a show!
