Magical sleepover at the Science Museum


Dress-up sleepover featuring a screening of Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban: The IMAX Experience!

On Friday 6 August 2004 a red carpet will be rolled out to visitors for this special sleepover at the Science Museum‚ where young visitors will:

·be enthralled by Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban: The IMAX Experience 2D (PG)‚ the third film of the Harry Potter series‚ on the enormous IMAX screen!
·have a competition for the wickedest wizard or witch costume
·sleepover in the Science Museum’s galleries
·learn how to make ‘potions’ in the stickiest workshop ever
·see the amazing Science Museum Bubble Show
·spend a morning of fun in our famous Launch Pad gallery

Science Night is open to everyone – dressed in a magical theme of course! We welcome the participation of both girls and boys aged 8 to 11 and we actively encourage individuals with special education needs to come to a night and join the fun. Price includes:
·experienced staff
·materials for hands-on workshops
·Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban: The IMAX Experience 2D (PG)

Science Nights are open to all children aged between 8 - 11 years and are available on a first come first served basis. Bookings can only be accepted from groups of five to ten children accompanied by at least one adult aged over 18 years. Visitors will need to bring a sleeping bag‚ wash bag and a packed evening snack - perhaps a pillow and favourite cuddly toy‚ but please leave pet owls‚ cats and rats at home!
