Science Museum at Wroughton

The Science Museum at Wroughton is home to the Science Museum’s big-object store and its Library and Archive.

The object stores are currently closed to the public due to redevelopment work.

The Library and Archive are unaffected and are open to the public by appointment.

Like most museums, the Science Museum is able to display only a fraction of its collection at any one time. Of over 220,000 objects, around 8% are currently on display in our galleries at South Kensington, London. The remainder are stored at our small-object store in West London and at the Science Museum at Wroughton until they are needed for new exhibitions.
