Become a patron

The Science Museum is proud to be the home of human ingenuity. As one of the leading museums of science in the world, we seek to inspire individuals through informal learning and cultural engagement.

It is thanks to the support of our patrons that we are able to continue with this important mission.

As a charity we rely on core funding from the Department for Culture, Media & Sport to maintain our collections and to keep the Museum free for the public. For everything else we need the support of individuals like you.

Philanthropic giving is increasingly vital if we are to maintain and build on our position as a leading cultural institution, both in the UK and abroad. By becoming a patron, you will provide essential financial support to enable us to reach out to an even larger audience and fuel their passion for science.

We have ambitious plans for the Museum over the next decade and beyond, and we would appreciate your support.

There are four levels of patron support beginning at £1000 annually (or £83 per month by direct debit).

Each level is designed to bring you closer to the heart of the Museum, its collections and the people behind the scenes through an exclusive programme of tailored events.
