Why not become a Science Museum volunteer and work in the best place in the world for people to enjoy Science?

As a Science Museum volunteer you can:

  • Volunteer in public facing roles that help us engage our visitors with science and technology, helping us create an unforgettable experience for our visitors
  • Work directly on unique, rare collections and projects making our objects and knowledge accessible to a wider audience
  • Volunteer with our learning team to engage, encourage and inspire young visitors in science
  • Gain valuable hands-on experience and skills throughout a variety of Museum roles

We are extremely grateful to our volunteers whose time and effort have brought so much to the Museum and its visitors. Whatever your background or experience, the Volunteer Programme might just be for you!

Volunteering is open to anyone aged 18 and over, all you need is enthusiasm and a willing to get stuck in. A science or museum background is by no means essential! Why not sign up today?  Example Roles
