Latest results from the trial show that the new technique of sentinel node biopsy could provide huge benefits for cancer sufferers.
But it will be a while before it's widely available. The next step is to give surgeons the specialised training they need to perform the operation well. Over 400 of them will need training to make the technique available nationwide.
