The Trent 900 engine is the power behind the Airbus A380, the world's largest passenger jet. It's big and very powerful, but this engine is also setting new standards for fuel efficiency and noise levels.

The Trent 900 weighs 6.5 tonnes and is 4.5 metres long. Each Trent-powered Airbus A380 is equipped with four of these giant engines.
