Beaufort Court's wind turbine will catch your eye if you're driving on the motorway nearby - it stands 50 metres high! The taller the turbine, the more electricity it'll generate.
'Our wind turbine generates around 250 MWh of clean, green electricity each year. This is roughly what 60 homes would use in a year, and more than twice what we need at Beaufort Court. We sell the surplus 30 homes' worth to the local electricity company.'
