Taipei 101's tuned mass damper isn't just the biggest in the world, it's also the first of its kind to become an architectural feature. There's even going to be a restaurant on the floors around it: Taipei 101 will put its engineering on show.
The tower's engineers are proud of their work. 'Taipei 101 is a tremendous architectural, engineering and construction achievement,' says Robinson.
