LSO St Luke's

When the London Symphony Orchestra (LSO) settled on the old St Luke's Church as their new rehearsal and performance space, they took on a huge challenge. The derelict building and its churchyard were Grade 1 listed - any restoration or renovation work had to preserve as much as possible of the existing structure.

Richard Crossland, Project Director for the renovation, explains 'They needed rehearsal space that would sound like a concert hall and look like a church - a tall order indeed!'
