Where in the world
Where in the world are we to find all the materials for all the houses needed for the world's growing population?
By 2020, the world's population will have risen by 1.2 billion - that's a lot of homes needing a lot of resources. Building materials are heavy and take a lot of energy to move, which isn't terribly environmentally friendly. And materials taken from the local environment may ruin the natural ecology.
