We all know that we're meant to be 'going green'. But how can scientists tell if it'll be worth it? By making computer models of the climate, scientists can take account of the Earth's atmosphere, land surface and oceans, as well as people, animals and vegetation.
The climate's components are all linked together, so changes in one part of the system can affect how other parts behave.
