Climate confusion

Clouds cause scientists major climate confusion, for example. Low clouds cool the planet by reflecting sunlight, but high clouds trap radiation so they have a warming effect. On top of that, climate change could be changing how clouds behave, affecting their cooling properties.

Human behaviour is even harder to predict. Nobody knows for sure what our future lifestyles and carbon dioxide emissions will be like and how they might affect the climate.
