Remember the rainforests? They might all be gone by 2050 as temperatures increase, some models predict.

The Earth's carbon cycle is an intricate system - carbon dioxide cycles naturally between the atmosphere, oceans and land.

As carbon dioxide builds up in the atmosphere, trees can grow faster. This means they can begin to absorb more carbon dioxide. But it's not all good news...
