By flicking off a few light switches you'll make a surprising difference to the temperature of things to come. Most of the energy you use at home is made by burning fuels that give off carbon dioxide. That means you're contributing to climate change.

Stop me if you've heard this before, but even swapping to energy-efficient light bulbs and turning your TV or computer right off at the power switch will make a difference. It'll save you money too.
