Keep it clean
If you really mean business about saving energy, then no more wallowing in the bath. Take short showers instead and - if you can bear it - install a low-flow shower head. By using less water, you make a double saving because you use less energy heating the tap water and also less energy is used cleaning it up after it's gone down the plughole.
To keep your climate change conscience whiter than white, run low temperature washes and make sure your washing machine has a full load.
