French connection

The birth of Concorde was the result of a historic agreement hatched between the British and French governments on 20 November 1962. Together, they embarked on one of the greatest aeronautical adventures of all time, agreeing to work together on a commercial supersonic aeroplane that would share 'fifty-fifty all angles of the project from expenses to incomes'.
