Problem plastics
Plastic circuit boards are notoriously wasteful to produce. Made from a mixture of oil-based plastics and glass fibre, they're hard to recycle and last a long time in landfill. But engineer Richard Wool has invented an environmentally friendly alternative.
Fresh from his lab at Delaware University, Richard has cooked up an ingenious new recipe for circuit boards that could replace problem plastics with natural materials.
