Eureka!
'We have discovered the secret of life' shouted Francis Crick, as he burst through the door of the Eagle pub at lunchtime on Saturday 28 February 1953.
Crick and his colleague James Watson had quite a few beers to celebrate what they had discovered earlier that morning in their Cambridge laboratory - the structure of deoxyribonucleic acid, or DNA for short.
