Vital Clues
Two other scientists, Rosalind Franklin and Maurice Wilkins from King's College London, were also hot on the trail of DNA's secret. Their data provided the vital information that enabled Watson and Crick to hit on the correct structure.
In November 1951, James Watson attended a talk by Rosalind Franklin. All the clues were there, but it took him over a year to realise.
