Robots ahoy!
Building a robot swarm has many challenges. But it's vitally important that all the robots can communicate with each other, and with humans - especially in a firefighting situation.
In a warehouse fire reliable communication is crucial because firefighters have to search big spaces quickly. But these buildings often contain a lot of metal, which can cause troublesome interference with communication systems.
So the rescue robots are being designed to overcome this interference.
