What did they eat?
Scientists have looked at LB1's teeth to see what she and her friends lived on. She had tooth decay, which suggests that her species liked to eat sticky carbohydrates - maybe they ate a lot of sweet fruits and honey.
Archaeologists who found the bones of LB1 also found evidence that the little 'humans' hunted pygmy stegodons - an extinct form of elephant which was about 1.5 metres tall.
