What dangers were there?

Giant lizards like Komodo dragons also lived on the island of Flores and seem to have been hunted by the tiny members of LB1's species.

Today's Komodo dragons grow up to 3 metres in length and weigh up to 120 kg. They are fearsome predators who can run as fast as a dog and hunt animals as large as deer and wild boar. But their extinct relatives were even bigger. Imagine being only a metre tall and taking on such a huge and dangerous animal, armed only with stone tools.
