Watery world?
NASA's Mars rovers are little golf buggy-sized robot geologists on wheels.
The landing sites for the rover twins, Spirit and Opportunity, are on opposite sides of the planet. Images from the Mars Global Surveyor orbiter suggest that these sites may have once contained liquid water.
The rovers' mission is to find out if there's water on Mars. Where there's water there could be life!
