Space jam
Things are getting crowded on the Red Planet - Mars is this season's top space destination.
Europe's Mars Express and NASA's Mars Odyssey recently joined NASA's Global Surveyor in orbit around the planet to study it from above.
Mars Express carried Britain's probe Beagle 2. Scientists are listening out for a signal from the tiny lander. Mars Odyssey's rover Spirit landed safely on 4 January and its twin Opportunity is due to touch down on 24 January.
