The scientists
We went to the man who started it all, Andrew Wakefield, to hear the pro-link side of the story. He's one of a small group of scientists who believe that MMR isn't safe to be given to all children because it might cause bowel disease and autism.
On the other side we spoke to infectious-disease expert Philip Minor, child health expert Brent Taylor, autism expert Tony Charman and other scientists who believe there's no evidence of a link. There's a lot of them and they've got loads of research to back them up.
