Exotic sample

Bioko is very isolated and populated by the native Bubi tribe. How did DNA samples from such a remote community end up on Peter's database?

'A team from Barcelona happened to be working there on a different project a few years ago and were able to take DNA samples. Geneticists often sample all sorts of exotic locations, but not "boring" places like France or England. It means we know more about the genetics of Bioko Island than of the Isle of Wight, and this has helped us to find Beaula's relatives.'
