What does MRSA mean?

'MRSA stands for Methicillin-Resistant Staphylococcus Aureus.

'Methicillin is an antibiotic used in the laboratory to test for staphylococci. If Staphylococcus aureus is Methicillin resistant, this means we can't use the common antibiotics we would normally use to treat the infection.'
