Going for a double
This golf club takes advantage of nanotechnology in two ways. In the crown, carbon nanotubes reinforce the resin that glues the carbon fibres together. In the shaft tip, ceramic nanoplatelets, only 2 nanometres thick, boost the material’s strength and resistance to twisting.
