Diamonds are a bone’s best friend
The steel screws holding this fractured bone together are coated with a layer of nano-sized diamond crystals that is only one thousandth of a millimetre thick. Your body is less likely to reject these screws because diamond is a pure form of carbon and your body is carbon based.
