Medical technologies are developing fast. Fifty years ago medical implants were a last resort - now artificial hips, knees and heart pacemakers are commonplace.
Scientists are even starting to implant chips in people's brains to treat diseases and disabilities. Doctors are currently testing a brain implant that lets paralysed people move physical objects and connect to computers simply by thinking.
