Marshall's memory-magnifying technique is called transcranial direct current stimulation (tDCS). It involves passing a weak electrical current through the scalp into the brain, using two battery-powered electrodes.

Although this battery-powered 'thinking cap' is thought to be harmless if used properly, please DON'T TRY THIS AT HOME!
