Here comes the Sun

As the nebula collapsed, the mass at its centre became a star, where enormous heat and pressure triggered nuclear reactions.
This is our Sun.

The leftovers formed into clumps that became the other parts of our Solar System. Caught up in the swirling cloud, they ended up spinning in orbit around the Sun.
