Venus nasty

You wouldn't want to visit Venus, says space investigator Manuel Grande.

'It's got this thick atmosphere and it's tremendously hot, 470 degrees Celsius, on the surface. It's about as nasty a place as you can possibly imagine.'
Manuel Grande, Rutherford Appleton Laboratory

The Venus Express mission will be looking at how Venus's atmosphere works, to see if this will give us clues about the Earth's climate.
