Stardust snatch
The Stardust spacecraft is on its way back to Earth after a close encounter with Comet Wild 2. It has snatched a tiny wisp of dust particles from the comet's tail - less than 30 milligrams.
The Stardust team will carefully examine the comet dust to see if there are any traces of the molecules that could point the finger at life.
