Is the debate over?

So now that scientists can make powerful stem cells without using embryos, does that mean all the controversy has gone out of stem-cell science? 'Pro-life' campaigner Josephine Quintavalle certainly welcomes the findings:

'We think it's wonderful - stem-cell research has some really exciting applications, and all we're asking is that scientists look for ways to do this without using embryos.'
