Embryo cells: really necessary?

Josephine thinks that developments using adult stem cells are sufficiently promising that there is no need to use embryos:

'I think if the general public had a clear idea about just how much is possible without using embryos, they would be able to decide for themselves whether embryonic research is something they really want to invest so much money in.'
