The plucky contestants endure sleep deprivation and extreme G-forces, helicopter crashes and exhaustion in the ultimate test of what makes us the most evolved species on the planet.
But the contest isn't just for athletes. The winners also need to prove there's something going on upstairs. The mind of a superhuman must show superior memory, communication and navigation ability.
