Which way now?

Just under the kite's canopy a control pod adjusts the SkySail in the same way a pilot steers a paraglider. Motors inside the pod pull cords on either side of the kite's canopy to adjust its shape and flight path.

The control pod can steer the kite in any direction so it's always in the best position to catch the wind. The kite can swoop from side to side and can even perform a figure-of-eight manoeuvre.
