Bring on the big girl
Starting in early 2007, the SkySails team will try out their kite system on cargo tankers and super-yachts.
The first ship to be fitted with the technology will be the 140-metre-long Beluga SkySails. This will be a tough test for the SkySail, but if successful it could herald a new age of the sail for shipping.
