What's left to do?

Developed by scientists in Germany, the warning system is now in the hands of the Indonesian people. But there's still work to be done.

For the next two years scientists will expand the network of sensors. Two of the ten tsunami-sensing buoys are already at sea and four more will be installed soon. The system will be complete by 2010. But it's not just the technical stuff that needs work...
