Another tsunami?

In a piece of research published in December 2008 in the journal Nature, scientists announced they had carried out in-depth analysis of the recent earthquakes in Indonesia, including the one that triggered the 2004 tsunami. Using satellite and radar data, they created a very accurate picture of how and where strain builds up on a particular fault line.

Their research shows that the warning system could be put to the test sooner rather than later...
