New light on old X-rays
US medics Todd Grey and Richard Boyer have re-examined Tutankhamun's skull X-rays.
They say that the Pharaoh's uppermost neck bones - the cervical vertebrae - are fused.
If they are right, this means Tutankhamun was probably born with a rare condition known as Klippel-Feil syndrome.
