Making waves

Underwater racers can grab the joystick and push the Gemini submersible to a top speed of 4 knots. Okay, that's only just nudging 5 m.p.h., but it feels a lot faster underwater. And be warned - keep your hands on the controls or the sub will automatically head for the safety of the surface.

Gemini also has a touch-screen computer to keep track of depth and cabin pressure as well as the all-important life-support systems. The oxygen supply lasts three days but since there's no onboard toilet, you probably won't want to take a long ride.
