Soiled dressing container, England, 1910-1950
This iron container was used for soiled bandages and dressings, perhaps on a ward or in a surgical theatre. The bandages may have been destroyed by fire or washed before being re-used. This item was used at Farnborough Hospital, now called the Princess Royal University Hospital, in Kent, England.
