InnoLet insulin injection device, Denmark, 2000-2007

The InnoLet device is used by people with diabetes who need to inject insulin to manage their blood sugar levels. Made by Novo Nordisk, the device has been designed with a simple-to-use dose selector dial that features large numbers. The dial clicks audibly to help visually and physically impaired patients to set and inject the correct insulin dose. The cap provides a compartment for the needle and protects the insulin from sunlight. This is a demonstration model used to teach patients how to use the device.
